Building a website

Im new to web design, what should i make for a website? Im thinking of making a portfolio/blog all in one that will have my work, my experience and the blog could just ebe information on what i like to do or something.

Portfolio or Blog is a good idea. If it's your first website I would recommend keeping it simple, only user HTML and CSS.
