Building Simple Website

I can't figure out how to get the images on the simple website. After I download them, where do I save them so they immediately upload when I type the simple web site?

Hi uhm, are you doing the simple website HTML? The images, you have to put inside the folder "IMG" and the images must be linked inside your index.html with the right code like let say you want to put the image of FACEBOOK, <img src="img/facebook.gif" alt="Facebook"></a>

In your folder you will have:

  • IMG (FOLDER)
  • index.html -CSS (FOLDER)

If you lunch the index.html so just double click on it, you will see on your web browser the page.

If you work not in LOCAL, but online on your hosting/server just upload all the files on your root folder of your server/hosting and go to your domain name and check if you see.

I hope it help

Yes! Thank you for your help. I figured it out a couple of minutes after posting but didn't update the forum. Thanks again. I should be set.
