6,039 PointsBummer! Can't get the length of a `Hand`
Have been stuck on this code challenge for ages and really can't see what is wrong :( Can somebody please point out the error in my ways!
import random
class Die:
def __init__(self, sides=2):
if sides < 2:
raise ValueError("Can't have fewer than two sides")
self.sides = sides
self.value = random.randint(1, sides)
def __int__(self):
return self.value
def __add__(self, other):
return int(self) + other
def __radd__(self, other):
return self + other
class D20(Die):
def __init__(self):
super().__init__(20)
import dice
class Hand(list):
def __init__(self, hand_list):
super().__init__()
self.append(hand_list)
@property
def total(self):
return sum(self)
@classmethod
def roll(cls, num):
hand = []
for _ in range(num):
hand.append(dice.D20())
cls(hand)

231,269 PointsIt looks like you've redefined Hand so that it now requires an argument to create a new instance. The challenge will expect it to work as it did before, but to also have the new roll method.
Also, remember that roll must return the new instance.
