"Bummer!" - I *am* a Basic member... so why am I seeing this?

I just joined and am running through the basic HTML courses (already know this, but working up to JQuery to start learning).

I'm on my free trial/ 1/2 month free term but I keep seeing this message:

<p style= color:orange>"Bummer! This is just a preview. You need to be signed in with a Basic or Pro account to view the entire video."</p>

Note that I am able to still watch the video, but for some reason I'm seeing this message anyway.

Chris Shaffer Jennifer Eder Robert Prevost Sorry about that! This has been fixed.

We're aware of this and will get it fixed ASAP. Until then just ignore it.

I came here to post the same issue. My free trial expired and I paid for a basic membership but am still getting this message.

Same here. It doesn't seem to affect anything, but it shows up for every video.

Does clearing your cookies help?

Yeah, I actually did put in my payment info but don't get charged the fee until May 1. I doesn't seem to hurt anything, but it's kind of annoying.

Maybe this is our first bug test.

Tom Bedford - no, it doesn't. For what it's worth, I came back from a restored Ubuntu session from using the site yesterday. I then signed out, cleared cookies and tried again; same issue.

"Maybe this is our first bug test."

Consider it a working example of why attempting to write "clever" code in fewer lines is inferior to just using a few more lines and having conditionals that are clearly outlined. (:

Great! Thanks. If it helps, I'm using Ubuntu like Tom.

I think Chris is on Ubuntu.

Oh, yeah. My fault.
