Bummer! SyntaxError: invalid syntax (banana.py, line 3)

Whats wrong? it only says "Bummer! SyntaxError: invalid syntax (banana.py, line 3)" when i check

banana.py 
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
"banana slip;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white".split(";")
sundaes = 
";".join(sundaes)

After the first line you need to save available.split(';') in sundaes like sundaes = available.split(';') To join the list of sundaes back, you need to do display_menu = ', '.join(sundaes) Then finally you can do menu = 'Our available flavors are: {}.'.format(display_menu)

Call split() on available, not on the string itself. Also the last 2 lines need to be together on the same line.

I have it like this now "available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white" available.split(";")
sundaes = ";"join.(sundaes)" and it is still saying Bummer! SyntaxError: invalid syntax (banana.py, line 3)
