Hey Guys,
Doug Turner talked briefly about "C Programming Language" book in the Fundamentals of C video.
Has anyone read it? Would you recommend it?
I'm new to developing and would love to learn a lot more about developing apps but am worried it may be to too technical, unlike the step by step process treehouse takes.
Thanks,
Joe

11,602 PointsI have tried several (paid) tutorials, books and websites. A friend told me about TreeHouse and I was very suspicious in the beginning. But later realized that these guys has made a very good job and I'm literally impressed!
So my advice would be to practice 1-3 hours a day to get a fine result.

I would like to recommend „Objective-C Programming: The Big Nerd Ranch Guide“ from Aaron Hillegass and Mikey Ward. It is very well written, not too technical and kind of a basis for understanding Objective C (The Objective-C programming language is based on C and adds support for object-oriented programming).
