Calling all developers

So Iv been a self taught individual for over a decade now but have yet to really work with a team or develop anything worth putting on a resume...

Don't get me wrong; iv developed multiple games, websites, hashing algorithms, bug fixes, etc..... Iv done the bare bone programming and the higher languages as well.... I have gone to multiple competition with college students whom have claimed I know more than anything a professor of their school could teach (At a junior level IE Bachelors of course, as for theory and more complicated programming as well I'm a bit stray)

I would like to start a project with a group today; something simple, but would benefit everyone. Nothing that will make us a quick buck or any bucks at all actually.

Just something that has not been developed and is in much need to be.

I have a few ideas; but we can discuss our ideas once we have a few individuals that want to help out.

Given I and most anyone out there whom may respond has not worked much with a group we may struggle to even have the slightest idea on our roles. Questions like who is more efficient at doing what; or simply what am I good at?

I myself know a few things I am good at but have no idea which role I would fit best in with a group.

Id assume I would take on multiple roles as would we all; but the few times I have worked with others I find myself fixing efficiency problems, unorganized code, improper code, etc.

Ideas: An app that utilizes bluetooth, wireless, and wired technologies to make an intranet that branches to the internet through a specific process that would require all data to pipe through multiple devices to reach its final destination... Um basically free internet (possibly ano) everywhere if everyone had this running on their phone, computers, old phones I have that we could go around and get permission to mount to areas to increase distance of the signals etc (I also have tons of spare modems and routers we could use... and I know how to build Solar Cells out of very cheap supplies like deodorant we can extract titanium from... I can get free deodorant so we have quite an endless supply of titanium to start with....) I feel like this is easy to do but may not be practical for bandwidth reasons. however I do know a bit about compression and iv come up with a few ways to make this work perhaps.... But we wont know until we try!
