Can any one of you suggest me a good book on android app development?

I do not have an active internet connection everywhere so a offline handy source of Android app development would be extremely helpful. Please suggest me good books . Regards An eager learner

This book is awesome because it covers google maps, GPS, Camera, App communication tons of cool stuff other books leave out. Plus it is half android and half IOS. So it also covers porting android to IOS. It's very detailed as well.
