JavaScript JavaScript Functions Pass Information Into Functions Create a max() Function

Can any one offer any guidance? Can't get code to pass

script.js
function max(a,b){
  if a > b {
    return a;
  } else {
    returnb;
}
max(4,5);

Hey, three things. first you need a set around the a > b when you set the function so

 if (a > b) {
      return a;
    } else {
      returnb;
  }
}

you also need to have a space in between the return and b so

function max(a,b){
    if (a > b) {
      return a;
    } else {
      return b;
  }
 max (4,5);

Now check the brackets, there is three opening and two closing, so if you add another closing bracket it will become

function max(a,b){
    if (a > b) {
      return a;
    } else {
      return b;
  }
}
  max (4,5);

I hope this helps :)
