Hiya Yannis! The order of statements in a loop matters. Means first statement gets executed first by the loop, followed by second statement after the first statement and so on. I can see like three bugs in your code. First off, you should be printing "item" alias , not "items" argument. Second off, your print(item) should be the first statement in your "for" loop , and the "if" condition needs to be after your print statement. Thirdly, There is no need for "else" condition , simply coz challenge never asked ya to extend your "if" to "else". This is how your code should look like:

def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        print(item)
        if item == "STOP":
           break
