Can anyone recommend a simple and free 2d CAD software/website?

I'm wanting to draw an inner tube with colors but I don't know what CAD tool to use that is simple and free. I tried using Corelcad but there were too many bells and whistles.

Thanks so very much for your time,

Jeff

Hey there Jeff Ness,

Here are a couple of options:

https://www.freecadweb.org/ - This is a free CAD software, I'm not sure how advanced or beginner-friendly it is.

https://spline.design/ - This is for 3D model design for web and animations, so not exactly used for schematics but you can create 3D and 2D models rather easily. The caveat being you can't switch between 2D and 3D and get measurement specs. You can only create a 3D model and/or 2D model separately.

So depending on your needs, these may work. I hope it helps! :)
