Java Java Basics Getting Started with Java Strings, Variables, and Formatting

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong please?

Im trying to complete the task on Java basics but I cant figure out whats wrong with my code.

// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
 Console    console = System.console();
String firstName="Emma";
console.printf("Hello, my name is %s\n", firstName);

First, you can take out the creation of the console variable, that is already taken care of for you by the Treehouse Framework.

The only other issue I see here would be the actual string. These challenges are pretty particular about what is in the strings, it should be provided in the challenge prompt.

Try using this printf line

console.printf("%s can code in Java!", firstName);
