Can I do IOS development on Windows?

Hello, can I do courses and develop IOS apps on Windows, or is it only for MAC devices?

I've been looking at the option of using a online service that let you remote onto a Mac virtual machine. For me it would just be for Disaster Recovery if I lost my Macbook Pro.

I guess it could give you a taster for a few months?
