Hi, Lynda,

after some reviewing of TeamTreehouse Library and a roadmap of upcoming releases, I was unable to find related materials.

I will ask the teachers if anyone is working with those technologies and if someone is planning on making a course, and then I will get back to you, as I am also interested in the subject.

I hope we will find something for you.

Treehouse briefly covers C in some of their early Objective-C iOS courses, but nothing that relates to embedded systems and Arduino. There's a course on Udemy that's pretty good however. You can try to purchase the course during one of their $10 course sales (which happen like every week).

Lynda;

Welcome to Treeehouse!

One of the instructors here at Treehouse, Andrew Chalkley is quite versed in Arduino projects. He might have some insight on future embedded courses, which would be great, or point you to some helpful information on how to get started, like his post on the subject.

Happy coding,
Ken

Treehouse has no current plans for embedded curriculum. You'll hear from me on my twitter feed if that ever changes.

In case anyone still reads this old thread, Coursera has started offering the Create Your Own Internet of Things (IoT) Device specialization from the University of California, Irvine. This 6-course series includes The Arduino Platform and C Programming and Interfacing with the Arduino. I have taken and enjoyed both, particularly the first one.

These courses are available with a verified certificate for a fee, but if you just want to learn and don't desire the certificate, they can be taken for free.

thanks everyone who replied .

hmm I think this is not free anymore. At least I'm checking right now coursera and has a cost of US$39 per course.
