Can I save the Sites folder anywhere in my computer? I got used to saving files in my desktop while in HTML track

Also next question is, after saving the Sites folder in my desktop for instance, and after extracting the Wordpress zip file, should I save the extracted Wordpress file directly inside my sites folder?

Yup, just make sure you point MAMP(or what ever localhost server you are using) to the file that you would like to use.

Wordpress is stored in a seperate file

Thank you, I am having a bit of a challenge following the install, I am using a PC. I got lost in the manner of saving the files to which folder. Apparently Sites folder in MAC is a built in folder used in saving sites . I was thinking it is just a new folder that I will just create for any file and name the folder "sites".

No problem, are you using MAMP?

Yes, I'm still trying to install it though. I will review the installation video. It's a different installation process I believe for PC. I just realized there is a separate video for PC install. I have figured it out already.
