can i still take the track

hi i have a question does anyone know if with a macbook that can only run loin can stiill benfit with the ios track

I believe Xcode 5 (the latest one for iOS7) requires at least Mountain Lion so if you want to do the iOS7 courses that won't work.

Some of the older iOS courses aren't using Xcode 5 so I'm sure you could install an older version that works on Lion and follow along with that.

DISCLAIMER: I haven't gone through the new iOS 7 courses yet.

That said, the APIs they use matter more than the version of xcode. If they don't use any of the new APIs that are specific to iOS 7 then you shouldn't have a problem following along in 4.6.3. If they are using iOS 7 APIs you're going to have a problem with xcode not recognizing them.
