Can I use Atom?

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if I can use https://atom.io instead of Treehouse's workspaces to follow along the lessons.

Also, would like to know if there is a way to code in Atom and preview what I am coding at the same time. (similar to http://codepen.io)

The reason why I want this is because I am bit sensitive to white light on the screen and would like to code on a dark theme background. If you have any better alternative, please post below.

Thank you!

Sure, Atom is a fine editor indeed. Please check out this Atom plugin https://atom.io/packages/atom-html-preview if you want Live Preview.

For alternative, there's Brackets by Adobe http://brackets.io/, which is another fine editor, it has Live Preview built-in.

Hope you find the info useful :)

Hey William,

I will try the Atom plugin, although Brackets seems to be way more awesome! :)

Thank you very much for this useful info!
