Can not install Mongo Hacker

I keep getting the following error when i try to install mongo hacker:

Missing write access to /usr/local/lib/node_modules

I tried using chmod to give write permissions but i still get the same error. Anyone know a way i can fix this?

If you're comfortable using it... have you tried prefixing the install command with "sudo"?
