Can seem to get the brackets on the email

I can't seem to get the brackets to appear on my email. What is wrong with my code?

SELECT first_name || " " || last_name || " " || email AS to_field FROM patrons;

changed category to databases

Since the database does not originally include brackets, they must be added using strings such as follows:

SELECT first_name || " " || last_name || " <" || email || ">" AS to_field FROM patrons;

You just include the angles as literal strings, just as you have done with the spaces. In fact, the first one can be part of the same string as the last space..
