WordPress WordPress for Website Owners Getting a WordPress Site Setting Up Your Own Site

can we buy the domain name from another provider and still be able to follow along with the video.

Hey Fox,

I use GoDaddy myself (and love it) and the cPanel they use is very similar to this one. The difference is that GoDaddy uses "Installatron" whereas that student hosting site uses "Softaculous". You'll see Wordpress under the "Content Management" and it should be a quick, easy install. Almost every single web host has a one-click installer for Wordpress, and they will all have the same admin panels.

You can follow along using any web host you want, the only thing that might vary is the installation method, but the admin panel is the same.
