17,640 PointsCan we get credit applied to existing courses? (CSS)
The CSS courses keep getting removed and replaced with updated courses with mostly the same content. It's great that your improving the course videos but can you apply credit to those courses for those users who have already completed similar courses?
For example: The CSS Basics and CSS foundations are pretty similar and before that I seem to remember doing yet another full CSS course.
It bothers me because I'm a bit OCD and attempting to complete all the courses treehouse has to offer. It also means I have to complete yet another CSS course to finish one of your tracks.
I noticed you don't have to accept the changes for the track you have currently switched on but that doesn't apply to other tracks. (I'm working on multiple tracks)

Courses Plus Student 46,022 PointsI usually just blitz through the material that I've already learned, doing just the quizzes and challenges and ignoring the videos unless I get stuck. I get almost full credit for the course that way, and I get the points and badges for it in just a fraction of the time.

17,640 PointsCould you possibly tag some staff members into this forum post? Thanks.

17,640 PointsThere seem to be a few bugs associated with that process that I've outlined in my next forum post. Namely, the videos are not marking themselves as complete which leads to those courses remaining on our your dashboard even after all the badges have been collected. (I can't just click a video and scroll it to the end to mark it as complete.)

Treehouse Moderator 91,254 PointsJust think of it as an extra chance to brush up on your CSS skills. Foundations was a fantastic intensive course but Basics will prime you up in the very latest in CSS while reminding you of the fundamentals that haven't changed, too. :-)

8,429 PointsAgreed! I just moments ago finished the CSS course and "updated" and now I have to do the CSS Basics course in order to move on to the next course in the Front End Development track. It looks like the CSS Basics class might even be a little less involved than the previous version. It would be great to get credit for the course, otherwise I'll just take everything "off track" and then perhaps not get credit for finishing the track.
