Hi Amanda Sideris we try not to give away answers as it can take away from the learning process. Regardless, if you post your question I'd be happy and try to answer in a way that points you in the right direction :)

I agree but despite your policy, it would be much more helpful sometimes to show students the correct formula so they may learn from seeing it correctly written.

Every student learns differently and some are visual learners and by seeing how a particular formula is written, helps connect the dots and allows those students to construct their formulas much easier in future since they now have a reference of the syntax.

By just stating that something is wrong is NOT very helpful and very frustrating to a new student learning a particular language. Providing some examples of the expected syntax or maybe highlighting the offending syntax would be more beneficial.

Sincerely, Daniel

HI danielchristie

Great suggestions. We're actually working on adding this feature into the quiz-engine, so you can get pointers for fill-in-the-blank questions like these (we do have that for our other quiz types). I'm not sure which question you are asking about in this quiz -- we don't actually ask for any formulas as answers for this quiz. But I agree, it'd be great to add more information like "One way to figure this out is to use the Sort feature located under the Data menu item to sort column A in ascending order." Is that the kind of feedback you'd like to see?

Sorry I thought the question would come under the quiz question I was trying to answer. I'll try and go back and find the question I got wrong. Is there any way to obtain the correct answer/solution for the questions I get wrong in the quiz? thanks
