Hello,

If you are looking to write your own projects away from Treehouse I recommend (http://brackets.io/).

All the best :)

I have found Brackets to be a very reliable editor. :)

I agree with both the previous replies. To clarify, Brackets (http://brackets.io) is a text editing application that you download and install. Codepen and JSFiddle are browser-based editors like Workspaces.

I have not seen these great text editors in the discussion (check them out!):

Atom - https://atom.io/

I like to use Sublime text.
