Can you use MAMP instead WAMP to use drupal?

I already have MAMP installed and configured on my pc, so I was wondering do we have to use WAMP for drupal, or is using MAMP fine?

Yes you can even use XAMPP or any other local web server that is able to run PHP and MySQL
