Cannot create android virtual device

Hi, I am trying to create AVD first time but it is throwing error. [2013-10-04 14:20:59 - SDK Manager] Error: Target location is not inside the SDK. [2013-10-04 14:20:59 - SDK Manager] Failed to set image path properties in the AVD folder.

Solved it. Here is the solution if anyone else is facing Go to Eclipse >> WIndow >> Prefrences and set you android-sdk-windows location.

Glad you got this working! Was this the Treehouse bundle? It's supposed to set that automatically for you, but it sounds like it may have failed. Would you mind replying with the path you used in the SDK location? Certain characters have been known to cause problems, and this is the best lead we've had on this problem so far.

Yes it was a treehouse bundle. My android SDK path is C:\android_dev\android_dev_environment\android-sdk-windows

default it is was like " ..\android-sdk-windows" when i first installed Treehouse bundle.

Thanks for the information! After you unzipped it, did you run the initial_setup script? If so, do you happen to remember if you had any errors or not?

Hi Ben, I ran the script but do not recall if there was a error or not. sorry about that.

No problem - your other information is still very helpful! :)
