cannot figure out what the question is asking? what is argument3?

i am not able to figure out what the question is asking of me?

The instruction is "Under the function definition, call your new function and pass it the argument 3."

That just means give it a 3 to perform the square on ("square(3)"). You'll also need to store the result.
