Cannot find runtime 'node' on PATH. Is 'node' installed?

Hi. I just installed Visual Studio Code and downloaded files for one of your courses. I can view HTML, CSS and JS files, but i cannot run it in any way. I just get an error "Cannot find runtime 'node' on PATH. Is 'node' installed?" Node Debug extention is already installed. Do You guys know what is the problem? I already searched google and community for any solution but found nothing.
