1,000 PointsRelated to funfact app module
package com.example.cristobal.funfacts;
import android.app.Activity;
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.view.Menu;
import android.view.MenuItem;
import android.view.TextureView;
import android.widget.TextView;
public class FunFactActivity extends Activity {
@Override

super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_fun_fact);
// Declare view variable
TextView factlabel;
Button showFactButton;
}
@Override
public boolean onCreateOptionsMenu(Menu menu) {
// Inflate the menu; this adds items to the action bar if it is present.
getMenuInflater().inflate(R.menu.fun_fact, menu);
return true;
}
@Override
public boolean onOptionsItemSelected(MenuItem item) {
// Handle action bar item clicks here. The action bar will
// automatically handle clicks on the Home/Up button, so long
// as you specify a parent activity in AndroidManifest.xml.
int id = item.getItemId();
if (id == R.id.action_settings) {
return true;
}
return super.onOptionsItemSelected(item);
}

32,885 PointsLooks like the Button class isn't imported for some reason. Copy and paste this into your Java class:
package com.example.cristobal.funfacts;
import android.app.Activity;
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.view.Menu;
import android.view.MenuItem;
import android.widget.Button; // this was missing earlier
import android.widget.TextView;
public class FunFactActivity extends Activity {
@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_fun_fact);
// Declare view variable
TextView factlabel;
Button showFactButton;
}
@Override
public boolean onCreateOptionsMenu(Menu menu) {
// Inflate the menu; this adds items to the action bar if it is present.
getMenuInflater().inflate(R.menu.fun_fact, menu);
return true;
}
@Override
public boolean onOptionsItemSelected(MenuItem item) {
// Handle action bar item clicks here. The action bar will
// automatically handle clicks on the Home/Up button, so long
// as you specify a parent activity in AndroidManifest.xml.
int id = item.getItemId();
if (id == R.id.action_settings) {
return true;
}
return super.onOptionsItemSelected(item);
}
}
Also, follow these steps to enable imports of the fly in Android Studio to avoid such issues: http://stackoverflow.com/a/16616085
Please mark this as the top answer if it helps you so other students can refer to this as well in case they get stuck. Cheers!

9,549 PointsJust to add to this, for some reason I had to import TextView and Button. This was from using the sdk download provided by Treehouse, so not sure why mine was different from the video.
