Cannot resolve symbol "R"

In the code that I copied and pasted from the teacher's notes, as well as in the SetContentView() the R shows red and it says cannot resolve symbol "R". Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Try a Clean and Rebuild first. If it persists, yet us know about any errors in the build.

Thanks Seth, that fixed it, the problem was a couple of typos in my TextView id's.
