Did you save the file before closing?

Like Daniel asked are you sure you saved the file? If you do not know how to do so then hit file and save.

If it does turn out to be a workspace bug then you could always use another text editing software to follow along with the tutorials.

I would highly suggest Atom or Sublime Text

Best of luck.

There could be a bug in the system in launch pad. But if for some reason you keep having problems saving just go to file, download workspace and open the downloaded files in an external text editor like sublime text or Komodo edit. At komodoide.com/download/ and just save your files on your computer.

Thanks. I'll follow your advice. Miriam
