Can't Connect my Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Plus to Android Studio

Hello. I've been following all the steps to connecting my phone to android studio, but it just doesn't appear. Is it maybe because my phone is an old model? I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Plus, which is kitkat. Please help me. And yes I am on Windows, and when I connect my phone, nothing happens.
