iOS Build a Playlist Browser with Objective-C Building a Music Library Model Review: Building a Music Library

Can't figure out the answer to the question in a quiz

Hi,

I can't figure out the answer to the question "The process of preparing our classes for use is called...". It seems to be something really simple yet the few variants I came up with didn't work. Also I don't see any references to the question in the whole block "Building a Music Library Model" where the quiz is from. Either I'm missing something obvious or the question itself is too vague.

Thanks for the tip... I was so close to guessing it too..

init, initialize, initializer, instantiate... nope, it had to be initialization /:

Oh actually I just found out the answer... right in the next block of the course. It is probably a bug since the final quiz from "Building a Music Library Model" should actually be for "Managing Playlist Data".

I'm starting to suspect that they did this on purpose, this is the second time now. Might be a good thing.

Thanks for this. I missed it twice, watched the videos leading in again and in the end searched and found it here in our community. Nice to know others had been on the same hunt.

thanks for posting it.

I think when the question is a fill in the blanks format, the answer should be more forgiving. i wrote initialization and getting the "red block" with no hint doesn't set you up for success. do treehouse members listen in on these conversations?

Hah... sometimes these questions are more misleading and time-wasting than they are helpful. Wish the staff paid little more attention to the completeness of these quiz.
