Python Django Forms Forms Instantiate a Form in a View

Can't find 'form' in 'lead_form'

I'm not entirely sure why this isn't running. It's definitely in there and if some other syntax was at fault it should have another error but I'm probably just missing something really basic.

myproject/views.py
from django.shortcuts import render
from . import forms

def lead_form(request):
    form = LeadShareForm()
    return render(request, 'lead_form.html')

Since LeadShareForm is in the forms module. it needs to be referenced with the forms. prefix:

    form = forms.LeadShareForm()
