cant get echo output

hello, I am new at php, not sure what I have done wrong but I am not getting echo output.

Thanks in advance for help.

Hi Tarif,

Technically you're correct. The challenges can get quite specific though and in this one I think they're trying to keep everything in one code block.

Try this:

<?php
$name = 'Mike';
echo $name;
?>

Any better?
