I see there are a few people asking similar questions and I believe I have my img saved in the wrong place on my computer.. Or I am not giving enough instructions to find it. I am working on bring up the Smells like Bakin logo. This is what I have
<img src="img/logo.gif" alt="Smells Like Bakin">
my image is saved under /Users/Dan/Desktop/Projects/Web/img
the words from alt="Smells Like Bakin"> shows up but thats it..
Any thoughts would be appercaited for a newbie! Thanks

5,112 PointsWhat code are you putting in? If I am not mistaken, if it isn't in a subfolder of the index you would have to type out the full link to the logo. i.e "c:/User/Dan/Desktop/Projects/Web/img" but I am also still new, and using a mac. I just made a new folder on my desktop and called it First website. So that way I had my img in a subfolder and my index in the main folder so for me it was just img/picturename.jpg (subfolder name was img)

1,414 PointsThanks for the response Joe, Your right I had it saved basically in a subfolder of a subfolder I added the name of the subfolder in this case "Web" and it worked.. This forum really helps!
