Can't get my Smells Like Bakin logo to appear on the page

I've copied it word for word I think. I am just getting a square with a blue question mark instead of the image.

I don't think your code has shown up. Sometimes I get a delayed effect with images appearing, almost like the browser needs extra time to compute everything, sometimes these delays have been as long as a day or two! Sometimes I've had an image appear in one browser but not in another...so, it might be this kind of buggy stuff....I also used to have much more trouble with images on my older, weaker laptop...just sayin'...

Here is my code <!DOCTYPE HTML> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/> <title>Smells Like Bakin' Cupcake Company</title> </head> <body> <img src="img/logo.gif" alt="Smells Like Bakin"> </body> </html>

Thanks for your help! The laptop may be an issue. I'm on a 2010 MacBook Pro. And I keep putting the text in here but it won't load. I tried to put it in the question as well.
