General Discussion Adding Changes to a Project on GitHub

Can't open project in text editor.

When I try to open my project in my text editor (atom), i can't get the folder to appear in atom. In the video, she slides the folder to atom and it creates an area for the project on the left sidebar. Mine isn't doing anything when I try to do the same. When I hit the "open in atom" option, and error message opens saying I need to install atom (which I've done).

I just want to make sure, first. Have you extracted the files from the zip folder first? If not, this might be the cause of your problem.

What happens if you open Atom first and choose menu File > Add Project Folder...

That got it working. Just had to take a different approach. Thank you!
