Who can help me out, with a base font set to 16px, I don't get a pass for the construct: .more a { font-size:1rem;} What's wrong with this?

42,016 Pointscan you provide a link to the challenge? your attribute looks correct but your selector may be incorrect or something. cant verify exactly whats wrong without seeing the challenge though
it may be the challenge wants you to select links with a class of more, in which case you would need to use
a.more { font-size:1rem; }
instead

42,016 PointsI think your selector may be wrong then. try using the one I posted in my first answer. your current selector ( a descendant selector) selects links that are descendants of elements with a class of "more", whereas you want to select link with a class of more, which is what a.more would select
