can't set default font color! ?!?!

I've been getting shot down with stupid problems a LOT lately. Here is one. On this ENTIRE SITE i cannot convince the default font color to be BLACK! #000000 - you know? black?

i can't see why. I've even gotten all div-crazy on some pages so that I get black in a div i've wrapped around stuff. That didn't work here. i DID make a special h1 white, and ever since it wants to make ALL FONTS white with the exception of the cobalt blue header. On this page - I had to use span style just to get the word HEADER in black (place holder) Wrapping a 'main content' div didn't work here.

i know it's something really dumb, i just CANNOT SEE IT - can you?

A HA! == well, now i'll have to wait and see if that was just a total error - or means something on some other page. for now i have p { background-repeat: no-repeat; color: #FFFFFF; font-fam.... } commented out.

thanks for the tip on !important - it was an act of desperation anyway.

Its because you have two paragraph styles in your css:

p { color: rgba(0,0,0,1.00);!important font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 1em; }

and further down below you have:

p { background-repeat: no-repeat; color: #FFFFFF; font-fam.... }

Also, if you really want to use !important, put it before the ";" instead of after. So for example color: #fff!important;
