Can't start Android Studio.

I have downloaded the latest version of Android Studio for Windows (64 bit), but the first thing it tries to do is to fetch the sdk components. But my network has a proxy setting due to which it is unable to fetch the sdk components directly from the internet. How do I overcome this problem. Please help.

Hi I just updated my Android Studio and I am having an issue as well on my mac. I checked it out this morning but have not been back at it. Apparently there is some sort of bug, from what I have read you have to change where some of the components are stored. I won't be able to tackle this again until in the morning. I will let you know how this goes. But if you google the latest Android studio bug that should help you. Please let me know if you get this resolved if not I will give you the details of how I get mine sorted out.
