Can't type in symbols.

I have this problem for a while now, but if i launch the workspace provided by treehouse, and i wanna type at the console block, like using jshell, i can not type in the following symbols: < > & | and so on. I'm working on windows. Can someone help?

I use hungarian layout. the "&" simbol is AltGr C, but i know this doesn't work on console blocks. any tips?

Unfortunately, Workspaces doesn't support non-English keyboards as well as English keyboards. (Not just in Workspaces, either, but in many other places too) Some code editors are picky and only except English keyboards. Try an English keyboard.

Thank you for your answer. I set the keyboard layout to english layout, and now it works =)
