I have some question about career in Australia. Currently I work as Web developer but the tasks are updating content of the web, making HTML news mails and brochure etc. And recently my company systemsGo told me they want me to do IT help desk job because my client don’t pay well for my position. So they want to replace my position to cut their budget.
What I am worried about is whether or not it is good to change job titles a lot in a few years. And especially when I try to get web developer job in Australia after IT help desk job.
My job titles will be changed three times if I do help desk in almost every year. 1st Customer support Representative - 2014 2nd Web developer - 2015 3rd Help Desk Engineer - 2017?
So I am thinking if I should do job hunting to find other web developer job or just take IT help desk job at my currently company.
