Hello All, I was thinking to myself we pay for the course, we dedicate our selfs to it to get the best from it! Tree House is perfect however it will be better if we get a certification when we complete the whole track! Is this possible?

33,856 PointsYou do have your badges and of course a profile, but in the world of web design, certifications don't necessarily mean as much to employers, etc. That's particularly because technologies are constantly changing. One of the best fallbacks for showing that you know your stuff is a portfolio.

30,415 PointsYou will encounter people that want the paper vs online work. But usually that paper is college related. However, I have noticed this is something that older companies do. If you can afford to go to college do that but if you can't then do what Dustin suggested and get as much work online as you can. It has to be good work though and the best you can present to employers.
Not sure if this matters but I "update" my website at least once a year. By update I mean burn the original and start over. Normally I use the things I learned that year and apply it to the creation process for the website. It forces me to stay fresh and also learn something new that year. Good luck Michel!
