I can't succed finishing this challenge. I tried "".join(list) but didn't work.
# add_list([1, 2, 3]) should return 6
# summarize([1, 2, 3]) should return "The sum of [1, 2, 3] is 6."
# Note: both functions will only take *one* argument each.
list = [1, 2, 3]
def add_list(item):
for item in list:
return sum(list)
def summarize(item):
return "The sum of" + list + "is " + add_list(item) + "."

The answer for this task should be:
def add_list(mylist):
sum = 0
for item in mylist:
sum += item
return sum
def summarize(mylist):
return "The sum of {} is {}.".format(str(mylist), add_list(mylist))
