challenge display problem.

On every code challenge I have done, I can only get an I bar with my mouse if I scrolled to the top of the workspace screen. Result: I must scroll to the top of the challenge screen to click with my mouse to get a blinking cursor then arrow down the page to the appropriate place to edit each time I return to the same screen. This is not a problem in workspaces. I am using Firefox in Win7 premium in a Virtualbox vm running 128Meg video, 4Gig RAM. The host system is Ubuntu. VirtualBox extensions and guest additions are installed. I will try on Ubuntu and Win7 host to determine if it is a vm video issue. If desired, I can create a screen capture video to demonstrate the symptom.

Is your browser window at full screen? I've experienced similar issues and they were resolved when I:

  1. Made my browser full screen
  2. Zoomed out by pressing "ctrl and +" (or selecting it in the view tab)

I wonder which part of the Treehouse code is causing this defect? It is very annoying since prefer to run with 3 windows on my laptop when working through the course.: One for the lesson, one for editing code, and one to view the results. This allows me to view the video and edit simultaneously then resize the window viewing the web page without affecting the others.

Going full screen did resolve the issue, just annoying to have to do that.
