JavaScript JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects Simplify Repetitive Tasks with Loops A Closer Look At Loop Conditions

Challenge JavaScript Help

Can't figure out this challenge. in Loops I think JavaScript is going to get the best of me.

The code in app.js just opens a prompt, asks for a password, and writes to the document. Something is missing. Add a while loop, so that a prompt keeps appearing until the user types "sesame" into the prompt

the first and last line from my code is already on there to begin with but the stuff in the middle is my guess. which is wrong

app.js
var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
while (secret !== "sesame") {

  secret = "sesame";
  prompt() = secret;

}
  document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

<body>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

You're code is almost correct you're just missing few stuff.

var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
while (secret !== "sesame") {

  secret = "sesame";
  prompt() = secret;

}
  document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

You want something like this

var secret;
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

while(secret !=='sesame') {
   secret = prompt ("What is the secret password?");
}
