Challenge Task 2 of 3 Next, add a click event listener to button. Pass an empty function as the second parameter. I do not understand. Please can you write the code so that I can understand ? Thanks.

You got everything right except the set of parentheses in front of your addEventListener method, and the big ol' chunk of parentheses and colons at the bottom of your code.

Anyways, your code should look like this:

var warning = document.getElementById("warning");
var button  = document.getElementById("makeItRed");

button.addEventListener('click', function() {

});
