Challenge Task "Preview" doesn't seem to work

I've noticed this on numerous code challenges. I want to see the preview of my code, and it just shows the code re-written on blank page.. Is this happening with anyone else?

Ya, for some odd reason this is happening to me sometimes too.

I'm pretty sure this is a limitation of the preview in the challenges, which probably just renders html and css. I've never seen a preview of any scripting work before.

Asked a moderator to drop in and see if they know for sure-like.

Hi Michael,

That's a great question.

I don't know the answer to this. My impression of the preview tab so far is that it will show what the challenge creator intends for it to show - which, sometimes is nothing. Java code challenges, for example, will often (if not always) use the preview tab to display compiler/syntax errors. But for Python, I don't recall seeing anything in the preview tab.

Consider sending an email to help@teamtreehouse.com and perhaps they may be able to shed some light on this.
