JavaScript JavaScript Foundations Arrays Methods: Part 1

Challenge won't accept my correct answer

I'm going spareWords.shift(1); and get the error feedback "you're missing the shift method". Surely it isn't so? Have checked for spelling errors.

Hi Jonas,

The shift method does not take any parameters.

var firstWord = spareWords.shift();
