14,268 PointsMedia queries always go at the bottom of your stylesheet. Otherwise, the cascading nature of CSS causes the style below to override what's in your media query.

29,881 PointsYour syntax looks correct, could just be that you're adding it to the beginning of the css file and not at the end. Sometimes the challenges are a bit weird like that.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 9,248 PointsPutting it at the bottom of the CSS made it work. This wasn't made clear in the video prior to this challenge because it has you creating a new stylesheet for media queries. It may have been mentioned and I just missed it because I am a dummy. Thank you to you both. I am constantly surprised with how quickly forum questions are answered here; also with how many questions I seem to have.
